In my job as oracle DBA I frequently use oracle tools to administer the database. I use TOAD and SQLDeveloper but both tools don’t satisfy. sqlplus is the most stable and fastest tool. When using sqlplus I have to use scripts to get a quick access to the data dictionary. The problem with the scripts is that I need a quick way to find the right script. My idea is to blog and tag the scripts with script and oracle and the category. I will donate the scripts to the community by blogging them on this blog. Most scripts are copied scripts from the internet which are modified to my needs. I will try to mention the original author when available. Further I will post addionational items of interest.
